Sanjiv Shah recognized by Houston Business Journal’s 40 under 40

This year, nearly 500 individuals from across all industries were nominated to be named one of Houston's 40 under 40 by the Houston Business Journal. Managing director, Sanjiv Shah of Simmons and Company International was one of the notable 40 to be selected. Applicants were scored on leadership, overcoming challenges and community involvement and selected by an impressive panel of judges.

Since joining Simmons 10 years ago, Sanjiv has advised on approximately 100 M&A and capital markets deals totaling $30 billion in aggregate value and has become one of the leading investment bankers in the country covering the oilfield services industry.

"There are not many individuals that I would consider a true and trusted advisor, but Sanjiv ranks among the best. His professionalism, vast array of knowledge, and honesty sets him apart from many in our industry," said Darron Anderson, president and CEO of Ranger Energy Services. "He is a model for all young professionals and current leaders, and I'm confident he will be a prominent contributor to our industry for years to come."

In addition to his impressive career, he spends much of his free time giving back to his community by donating his time and resources to various nonprofit organizations, including the Petroleum & Equipment Services Association.

As one of the 40 honorees, Sanjiv will be recognized at an event on June 7 and featured in a special addition of the Houston Business Journal's weekly edition on June 8. Read the full article here.
